I'm eating yogurt (shudder) to counteract the, ahem, potential side effects of the industrial strength antibiotics my surgery requires. My Beloved, whilst attempting to tempt me with the stuff, read the label which lauded its "spoon-hugging texture."
Isn't that beautiful?!
My other recent fav? "Linquistic realization" from a research paper on how economists deliberately chose words in their research articles to strike the balance between self-promotional ("I'm the next Bernanke!") and deferential.
I'll share more as I come across them. But just like the perfect turn of a phrase in a novel, I think these are gems of a different kind to be equally admired.
