Long, Long Distance

My fantastic, amazing, and inspiring parents are off exploring Thailand so I am unable to send my mother her birthday greetings in person.  While for all intents and purposes she is just as far away from me as she would be on the West coast, psychologicially she feels farther than that.  So, just in case she is able to access the intarweb in a Thai cafe...
